Andair Check Valves
The Andair Check Valve is a complete closure valve. It allows fluid to pass in one direction while preventing it from flowing in the reverse direction. Arrows on the outside of the body indicate the flow direction. The valve is machined from L168 Aluminum and then anodized for greater protection. To connect to the valve a range of fittings are available.
Optionally, a bleed can be fitted to the valve at no extra cost, which allows for bleed back to occur. This particular valve is useful in the vent line of a fuel system where allowance for fuel expansion is necessary.
The internal shuttle and spring are extremely light, giving a cracking pressure of between 0.4-0.7 PSI.

How do I keep contaminants out of my fuel system?
The fuel selector valve works in unscreened fuel. Contaminated fuel can cause selector valve seal damage. When fueling from possibly contaminated fuel sources McFarlane recommends the use of a fuel filter, such as Mr. Funnel or another filtering device, to reduce trash in the fuel system.
