Why is ours better?
The McFarlane drawbar was uniquely designed to combat the common failure points of the OEM replacement, including broken loop ends or cracking. Both failures result in an inoperable door handle, requiring replacement of your drawbar. Our design incorporates several improvements, including its material, shape, and added washer. The OEM drawbar is made of aluminum, compared to our stronger stainless steel material that is less prone to cracking or failure, resulting in a longer lifespan. We also redesigned the shape of our drawbar that prevents popping on the door handle during operation, which creates a wear spot and bends the drawbar (resulting in failure). Lastly, we added a unique spacer for an improved fit and less noise during use!
